Nothing beats dirt track racing if you ask me. I was raised around dirt track racing. My grandpa raced, is actually a nominee to be inducted in to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame in Knoxville, Iowa (they say next year is the year yay), and my dad also raced my whole life, along with many friends of ours. NASCAR is great.....but there's nothing like the weekend races at the dirt track, it's the best! The big IMCA and Late Model races are especially interesting. 100's of cars and drivers, spread over 2 or 3 nights of racing!!! Did u by any chance go see the late model races at Bristol when they filled the track in and raced them? I did....you talk about A LOT of cars....it was awesome though.

Really! My husband use to race stockcar he was in what they called Street Stock (then) but I-we all Loved th Late Model too!
We use to go to alot of different tracks. We eat lived and breathed Racing! It was soooo much Fun! Just the smell of racing fuel!!!! Honestly I do believe it is more fun to watch than Nascar! Of course we all miss it and would likely still b n it had we not moved. Where does ur uncle/cousin race at? Have u heard of Dick Anderson?

I love short track latemodel racing. On dirt or asphalt, it doesn't matter. Short track racing is the best
