I am on the pill and not due to come off yet as i take 3 packs in a row (doctor prescribed them due to painful periods) - i think i could be pregnant. have following:-
feel a bit queesy to the point where i occasionally gag, cramps, stitch, heartburn, backache, tiredness, go to the loo more than usual, last night and tonight after eating my cooked meal i get an upset stomach yet i can eat cold food and im fine, and also excessive saliva yesterday and day before and my stomach is bloated.
What im wanting to know is obviously i cant wait another 1 1/2 packs in order to possibly miss my period and then take a test so when would you advise me to take a test? I had unprotected sex 2 weeks ago.

Go have the doctor perform a blood test.

The pill does not affect home pregnancy tests. You can take one to see whether you are pregnant. Also, if you are feeling these symptoms but are not pregnant, you should see your doctor as you may need to switch to a different type of birth control pill. Sometimes the hormones in the pill can make you feel this way too.

Well, if you're on the pill chances are you're not pregnant. However I've been told that over the counter Preg. tests will not work correctly (give false positive) is you're on the pill. The best course of action is to call you Dr. ASAP and get in, make sure you tell them the situation, it's URGENT! Continuing to take the pill when you're preg. leads to SERIOUS health risks for u and baby. How long have you been on the pill? 2 weeks is kinda soon to be having symptoms... maybe you're just paranoid. Still go to the Dr.!

If you are on the pill, I'm confused as to how you had "unprotected" sex...or do y'all usually use condoms too, and that's what you are referring to?
Regardless, call your doctor. They can best advise you how to find out if you are pregant, considering the pills put various hormones in your body that wouldn't normally be there.

Take a pregnancy test. If positive, stop BC pills immediately. Call your doctor.
