I am. Happiness is to experience harmony in living. Hindu way of life is to seek harmony in conscious living experience.

Recently i have gone through 2 surgeries, one was so serious that I had paralysis in my right arm and it was to revive my arm. Then had soem other troubles discovered out of the blue in my entire body and system. I lvie so far away from ym family and loved ones back home in India, it was even more difficult to get through this time.
But, yes, I am happy, that I had such a loving husband by my side to get me through it all, I am happy my arm is ok now, almost. I am happy that things were not as bad as they could have been. I am just simply happy to be alive. I am happy with all I have and without all I dont, but the fact is that if I was meant to have them to make me happy, then God would have given them to me!!

Most people would say that I'm a happy person. I am cheerful around people, but I have sadness that creeps up when I get to thinking too much. So, generally happy, or as some others put it, content, but then sadness sometimes sneaks up on me. I guess that's pretty common, I don't know.

I dont really believe that there is such a thing as "happiness" or that people can really be "happy". I think there are 3 kinds of people in this worold, people who dont know they are unhappy, people who know they are unhappy and then people who thought they were happy and now realize that they are not. Being the latter is the most painful. People who think are happy but dont realize they are unhappy really dont know any better. Ignorance is bliss (if you believe in bliss) And people who know they are unhappy have always been that way. But people who thought they were happy only to learn that they are not, feel like they have lost something.

The word Happy comes from the same root as the word Happenstance. Happiness is based too much on the events and circumstances around us. It comes and goes. It is fleeting. If you ask am I content? I'd say yes. At peace? yes.

Happiness is flighty. No one can be happy all the time so I think the best thing we can shoot for is being content with moments of happiness. I am usually happy but mostly just content.

More or less, yeah. Of course everyone has stress in their lives, but my future is looking bright and I am excited about it. I hope that you are happy, too!
