I use White Willow Bark. If you live on a farm, more than likely it's abundant and you can brew your own tea (warning, it tastes nasty, but it works). Or you can buy the capsules at any health food or drug store. You might want to increase your fluid intake as well. Headaches are the first sign of dehydration. I used to get very severe migraines, after I started consuming 3 litres (3 qt.) of water a day, they went away.

Before you try medicines you should try drinking mint tea or sucking on mint candy, and also drinking lots and lots of water and rest your eyes. If that doesn't work then take Aleve.

this is trite but sex works good - my husband suffers from BAD migraines, if I can get to him when he feels it coming on the release of blood to the brain after the big O stop it from getting worse. At least this is what he tells me - maybe he is just lying and faking it - hmmm. Also caffeine works real well, dark quiet spot, 15 mins of relaxing should help.
