i ask this question cus my sis's BF dumped her because he told her he can't trust her he rather have an average looking girl than her. She is really devastated but i told her he is a jerk

No matter how confident he is in any other aspect of his life, he's insecure about something and she's better off without him. Hopefully in time she'll realize that if they had stayed together they both would've been miserable. He has a problem that will probably last him all his life, and she is able to move on now and be free of that BINDing self doubt that he dwells in.
To answer the first part of the question, I don't think it matters what she looks like he's going to be a suspicious boyfriend anyways. Some cheaters project a guilty conscience on others.

Whoa, there.......
1) Maybe he's not a jerk. There could be any number of things going on.
2) You're probably going to take your sister's side no matter what. That's OK. That's what sisters are for. But you haven't heard all of his side.
3) Maybe he lacks confidence. That's a pitiable scenario, but that doesn't make him a jerk. He could honestly be cutting her loose for a better guy he knows he's destined to lose out to anyway before he really gets hurt.
4) Sort of....in general......he's right. But I don't know the specifics of their case. If I already HAD a beautiful girl, I'd hang on to what I had if I could and if it was working and make it work if possible. But.....all other things being equal, I'd probably ask out an average girl before I would a beautiful girl. It's just easier, for starters, and if I didn't know either one of them well it's usually a pretty safe bet that a beautiful girl is a bit stuck on herself and will jump on an opportunity to "trade up". An average girl is more likely to focus on the possibility of cultivating a relationship and look for compatibility. In other words, most (not all) pretty girls are shallow. Sad truth, but true nonetheless.

~If sis is devasted because she got dumped by a guy with a line like that, she's got some serious problems that have nothing to do with her looks. The self-esteem issues are obvious and if she is relying on her looks to find companionship, she's in for a very lonely life filled with superficial relationships. Like most people who try to get by on looks alone.
To answer your question, I'm a sucker for a brain and a personality. Looks might open the door, but I won't stay in the room too long if it's empty.

Of course, it's all in the eye of the beholder...
That said, the sincerity of the smile is what I look for. A really hot chick who looks like she's forcing a fake smile does NOTHING for me. It has to be genuine. Fake smile takes away 3 points out of ten, sincere smile adds 2 points.

depends on the personality. If I loved the hot girl not just by looks but also by personality, I would prefer her. If the Hot girl was as stupid as george bush, I wouldn't date her. Obviously Hot over average if their personalities are both good.

Well, if she is hot and untrustworthy, I'd take the average girl if she was trustworthy..... Untrustworthy ho,....... your sister lied to you anyway, 10 bucks says her BF dumped her because he caught wind of her cheating on him, and she just doesn't want the rep of a ho....call her on her BS
