China is the greatest threat the U.S. currently, or will ever, face.

The only thing that has kept China from conquering Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and the U.S. is their lack of an infrastructure (roads, industry, means of military transport). I recently saw a photo of Po Hai (the harbor that serves Peking and western North Korea), and it is FULL of oil tankers waiting to unload. China is building at a faster rate than any other nation in the world. China also has one of the largest economies in the world. So their infrastructure is goiong to be up to par soon.

Everyone that is able in China is required to serve in the military. The Chinese have a milion man Army, a top five (in size) air force, and potentially a 100 million man reserve force, and the same regard for human life that the Japanese had in WWII. They have no problem dying for their collective. If China were to invade tomorrow, they could kill us off at a rate of 1 American killed for every 1 Chinese lost, and still have A BILLION left over with which to occupy the U.S.

Be afraid of China, folks...and learn Chinese.

Does it matter? If we say nothing then we are being weak on cruelty to animals. If we open our mouths then we are wasting time on trivial pursuits, which is not a bad game if you play it seldom. But the point is somebody cared enough to ask us to say something so we did. That is why we are in Israel, Afghanistan, Iraq, Bosnia and everywhere else we were asked to stick our noses in. Somebody is screaming foul. You can choose to ignore problems if you want to but there is a better than average chance that you will get charged for it later and the bill will come with interest and late penalties.

Yes. People complain about the US being a super power (and i'm one of them) but things will be a lot worse when China becomes a super power and it will. I think the big countries seriously need to think about what will happen with China before its too late.

So China killed 50,000 dogs. We kill many many thousands of cows, sheep, turkeys, pigs, chickens, and other animals day after day. China never said a word about it.
