Hi. i've got pokemon ruby for gameboy advance. i've got five badges and got surf but i haven't got any water type pokemon. Where can i get a fishing rod from (which town)? i also want 2 know at what part of the game do i get fly? Thanks

u can teach surf to zigzagoon, a very common normal type pokemon. thn u can surf around and catch water pokemon that u run into during battles. u get fly after u beat the 6th gym leader.

Mossdeep City; Go to the house behind the Mossdeep Space Center and talk to the Fisherman

hard to explain here. u better go n find FAQ. u want water type pokemon? catch them in wild grass or in water. (but u must be kidding me..got 5 badges already but havnt got any water type?? i assume that u didnt check in ur 'pc'-the one where u store all ur pokemon)
