First of all ...read a pregnancy book.

You are not supposed to sleep on your right side and you aren't even supposed to lay on your back...the added weight of the baby can constrict the Vena Cava and resrict blood flow to the placenta.

You are supposed to sleep on your left side with a pillow or two between your knees to releive back pain..a small pillow under your "bump" to support your abdomen and maybe even a pillow behind you to support your back.

Investing in a good body pillow will take up less space and provide you with much needed support and comfort during pregnancy.

I was a stomach sleeper before I got pregnant too and it was really hard to stop...but after a few weeks I got used to it...Its not hard...but let me tell you...I'm seriously thinking about going to the beach and digging a whole to stick my belly in, just so that I can take a comfortable nap!! That's the first thing I'm doing once this kid is out...I'm taking a nap and I'm gonna sleep on my face!! lol

Well it isn't easy, I usually tried to curl up around it. I had very big babies, the bump was huge. It sounds like you are getting close to the end if you feel suffocated on your back. Hang in there, try to picture yourself snuggling and protecting your baby as you rest. Good sleep kind of goes out the window for the next couple of years, but it is all worth it when you hold the baby in your arms the first time.

Try to enjoy these last weeks, there is no way to know if you will ever harbor life within you again.

one pillow under the bump and one between the knees. You're meant to lie on your left as it can reduce your blood pressure but i could only ever sleep on my right. Alternatively, if you suffer from indigestion (like i did in the last two months) you can lie slightly sitting up with about 6 pillows supporting your head, neck, shoulders and back. My last two weeks were spent on the settee which supported me better than the bed.

When I was pregnant many years ago my sons now 26? I found the best way to sleep was on my side and to rest my outer leg on a pillow between my legs to take the weigth off my bump as I was really massive.

i could personally never sleep the way described above...i tried sleeping in my son's nursery on a glider or an extremely comfy chair in the den. find anyplace thats gives you comfort at night and won't give you an ache in the morning, sometimes that place might be outside the bedroom...and if nothing helps just remember its only for a limited amount of time, by the time the babys born you wont find hard to sleep standing even, anywhere where you can get 5 mins of peace...

Sleep on your side, preferably the left. Use a pillow to support your belly if necessary. There are special pillows for pregnancy called "body pillows" or "pregnancy pillows."

Sleeping on your back is not recommended because it can put pressure on your arteries and limit blood and oxygen to baby. Sleeping on your belly is just uncomfortable.

I slept on my side with a small pillow between my legs. It helped, but I never could get the best sleep until after the baby was born, believe it or not.

Thats one hundred thirty american money. sluggish practice takes 1/2 an afternoon yet besides 1/2 the fee. Or in one day bus. as a lot as twelve hours yet less extreme priced, not effective about fee. Emergency type 119 Mail me for more effective education.

i used to sleep with a lot of pillows everywhere, around the back under my bump, under my legs just pad yourself out everywhere it is uncomfortable when you get in to later stages of pregnancy, but just think of the end result..it will all be worth it.
