Not necessairly. If you wear a gold ring, necklace, bracelet, etc... and you are anemic your skin will turn black, but It takes longer than second of exsposure to the cheek unless you are pretty much dead from lack of iron.

Its called black derma graphism....I can't even wear white or light colors if I'm wearing a gold necklace...They will turn all black!....Its really a BIG pain!....But to answer your question?...I went and had blood tests last week for something unrelated and the Dr. told me I am NOT anemic...And I REALLY turn black from gold...So its got to be something else that causes it...I sure would like to find out!....Good question!

Nope. I was extremely anemic and wear 14K gold rings, chains and earrings- and NONE discolored my skin in any way, shape or form.

No, but pushing down your fingernail does. If it takes a long time to turn back pink, you are anemic

It leaves a black line on your makeup if it is real gold. Has nothing to do with anemia.

Um, no. I have anemia, and it's only through having tests done on my blood that they can tell what my iron levels are.
