whenever i try to enable the internet sharing it gives me the following mesage
"Cannot establishshard access
Error 123: The fielname, directory name or volume label syntax is in correct"

well let me tell you the details . i have been doing this for a long time but i just changed my isp and the new connection that i want to share is giving me this message ... it is not about echange server it is about simple internet sharing between two machines .... the machine where i connect to the net is giving me this error message ... from the client side i can access the server and everything but i cannot access the internet that is whati want to check on .... i treid to redo the internet connection but his time it does not allow me to do internet sharing instead it gives me that message i gave earlier .... so i hope i made it clear this time

Because your NEW isp gives your server NEW IP address!!!

Check the IP of the one which connected to the Internet (server). Copy and then put that on the Internet Options of the 'client' computer.

Ok do one thing right click on ur dialup internet connection so suppose go to my network places select view network connections right click on connection i.e. mtnl or tata go to advanced and select tab allow network users to connect to this computer's internet connection. Before doing ll dis ur all pc's should be on the newtwork if u try this i think d problem will be resolved. If solved do mail me plz mail me my id is or

do the course in "win xp networking ", read the book. you can do one thing that go to control panel in "network setup wizard" u will get idea their, do step by step ,, what do u want to do.
