rock band I luv rock usualy frome the 80s but I do like todays rock music too so I was just wandering what other people like?

it depends on my mood actually but I dont like much rap- i am stuck in the 80's too but todays music is just as good - dream theater is my fav tho- excellent musicians!

Rock bands of today I like are:
Five for Fighting, Coldplay, Nickleback, Jett, Foo Fighters, Train, etc.
Back in the day bands I like are:
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Pink Floyd, Traffic, the Doors, etc.

I like Metallica, Journey, Ozzy, Taking Back Sunday, Cute Is What We Aim For, Senses Fail, Mindless Self Indulgence, Green Day, and a bunch of other people!

I don't have just one favorite, I'd have to go with my favorite from different moments and/or genres:
70's Pink Floyd and Led Zepplin
80's : Metallica
90's : Korn and Slipknot
ME : Disturbed and Seether
Hardcore rock band : Lamb of God and Type O Negative
There are a lot of really great bands out there if you open your mind to ALL the possibilities and not just tie yourself to one concept.

To many to choose from.
I listen to all kinds of music from the late 50s up to todays music. Check out the early bands and see how the music progresses to today, I think you'll find a deeper love for all music later on. Or maybe its just me.

I love the Blues and my favorite rock band of all time would have to be Led Zepplin. As for new rock music check out a band out of NY called DOPE at they thump. I hope you enjoy them. Peace
