Is there any way to get stains from mildew out of clothes?

I bought some second hand clothes and a couple of them have stains from mildew, I dont really want to throw them away so I was wondering if there was anything I could do to get the mildew out of them

my mother has told me that if you use pine soil in the wash and put a small amount on the stain it would remove the smell and the stain. I have tried it to get the smell out and it has worked.
