Don't eat greasy or spicy food....(but that's no fun...)

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and I take Pepcid complete (NOT PEPCID AC!!!) Pepcid COMPLETE...it's the one and only thing that stops it...I actually only take a half a tablet and it works instantly...

It's not cheap...but its the only thing that will stop your heartburn flat...gauranteed. Don't waste your time with tums, or any of those stupid cheap tablets...they don't do anything...

Oh ya...and make sure the buy the mint flavor...the berry flavor is disgusting!!!

Good luck :)

Have the baby and it will go away. Sorry, heartburn is one of the less wonderful parts of being pregnant. If it's really really bad there are some medications you can take with your doctor's okay. Also it can help to sleep with your head and chest elevated, like on a big pillow, almost sitting up. Also try eating small meals several times a day and avoid foods that aggravate your heartburn.

I had heartburn that could take down an elephant...You can take tume...but don't take more than the recommended dose. You should be taking a tums a day for the extra calcium...old wives tale says that the more heartburn you have, the more hair that your baby is going to have...its true!! MY son was born with a head of hair about an inch long all over

Tums helped me, just keep them right beside your bed, also sleeping in kind of an upward position....like put pillows behind your back where you are kinda propped up...that helps a lot

It helps if you wear clothes that don't restrict as much (ex: overalls, dresses instead of skirts and pants, a larger bra size etc..)
