The purpose of my search is to stay current on what some specific businesses are doing. It is not an industry that is typically tracked by national press or even regional press, so general search, even with some pretty specific targeting, is not working. I'm hoping to find a site or even a service that specifically tracks press releases.

There are some companies that specifically offer this type of service tracking press releases. Here are some of them

Hi,
Since press releases get distributed many places but then drop off of many sites soon, the only ones centrally searchable would be from the major search engines. Each specific press release distribution service usually archives their press releases but anything they distribute is not guaranteed to be found external to their site. There are no comprehensive press release search engines yet. There is a software called Copernic that is excellent at deep mining the web for press releases submitted. It is my recommendation.
I hope this information helps you.
