The italian player repeated the insults THREE times, in Italy, when Zidane was sent off, it was coming all over the news that Italy is going to win, Italy lost 4 times in a row to penalties and were getting nervous when they saw that this match is going to lead to penalties, they were more confident when Zidane was sent off.

Yeah!France must win & this is true that France is already the winner & the victor!
Lets tell u something tesorotx:
Italy just defended...JUST!!!While both france defence & attack was really brilliant & hard,they just stand & defended!!!
There were many mistakes around the refreeing .everybody Know that Italy run everything with money!!Didnt u see how they won against Australia!!!!!A reall cheatfull penalty!!didnt u see how Cannavaro hurted my favorite TT while the referee was just prowling around!
or another one when Italys defenders used to do every thing they like just seemd as there is no referee in the ground!!!They were just making wrong & hitting the french players & nobody told them anything & it was a reall injustice!!
Another that I should mention that sombody said it was just a penalty that helped france!But how about another time that the Italians defenders hited Maluda in a bad way that it was just a chance of Goal & the way they behaved was just a penalty shoot too!But Italians didnt think so.Because the referee was definitly in their side & he continued the game in a shamefull way!And how about the time when they hited TT infront of the goal!
how much money they have paid to the referee!!

Penalty appears when u r infront of the gate & sombody hurts u becuase it will be goal!

No, Why should they, they scored on a set play, France only on a penalty kick. Italy is clearly the superior team, they did not need to sabotage a hothead like Zidane. What happened between Zidane and Materrazzi is not unusual;so why all the drama? Every black player in international soccer has dealt with insults both racial and personal. This is simply a crybaby excuse to make up for the lost. GET OVER IT ALREADY!!!! let me teach you a little Italian- IL AZZURRI PER SEMPRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zizou usually plays midfield either left or right, he's equally great with both feet. If you can remember in the last minutes, he was taking more of a role of a striker right in the middle in front of the goal area. At the 104 minutes, with a superb header that Buffon unfortunately stopped from going in, you could see him inching dangerously closer to striking a goal. And then, where was Zizou when Materazzi put his hands on him, that's right, right smack in the front of the penalty box. So that's probably when Materazzi the Butcher said to himself "I got to get him out somehow, hurtful words work with him".
I have two great pictures (two angles) where Materazzi without any attempt to play the ball throws himself in front of Zizou. And Zizou the athlele that he is totally jumps over the Italian, really incredible. The Italians know Zizou well, Lippi was his mentor at Juventus.

no, i bet they pick on others players too, just that Zidane did not walk away to the provocation, about the fact that they were they going to the penalty kicks, any other player could have fail the shot, even with Zidane in the list.

I think Zidane is human and what ever was said was said in the heat of the moment. We all lose our tempers and it was unfortunate for Zidane.
What gets me is the people who are quick to critise as if they are GOD.
