Your choice.

Oddly I've struggled with the same thing! I tend to keep them for several months, but after awhile it becomes more of a nuisance than a memorial. At that point I delete their names.

you should take him or her out because their is no use having them their you should start forgetting about the death of the person and move on but still remember the good times you had then at the end you will feel mush better trust me i been through the same thing if you ever need to take do it don't keep it in

I like your question, I just lost a very special friend a couple of weeks ago myself and thought about the same thing. I am leaving her there for now because I dont believe in saying goodbye! Seeing her name brings back memories.

Depends on how you feel about it. I would leave them there until the time comes that you feel comfortable deleting it. If you are questioning whether or not to delete it, I would leave it there.

If it bothers you to see their name on the list, I would delete it. Just make sure that you will not regret it later.

Hey there, I had a close friend of mine pass away very unexpectedly a few years ago, and I kept her on my messenger and email lists for awhile. When I was ready to say goodbye to her, I deleted her from my things. It is up to you. Sorry about your loss.

when my uncle passed away i kept all his addresses and phone numbers on my PC and mobile and kept them as a reminder

but after years it wasn't as hard as it was then, so i deleted them, but that never meant i forgot about my beloved uncle, it just meant i got through it, and i don't have to stick to the past anymore

Do you treat your address book as a historical document or a way of contacting people?

Leave them there as a reminder of the temporary nature of bodily life.

I kept my friend there for almost 2 years. Then one day I deleted him. I think it was my hearts way of saying "I'm ready to move on". So leave him, till you're ready to let him/her go.

Sorry for your loss.
