That just depends on what they're saying.
For me (forgive me for being a geek) it was a chance to learn all that I could and to have to deal with ignorant idiots.

From what I vaguely remember (1981-1985) it was a lot of fun. I made some great friends that are still my best friends today. Stay out of trouble, make friends with teachers and join an extra curricular or a few.
Back in my day, they used to throw pennies at freshmans. I wonder if they still do that.

A wise teacher once told me that high school was the only place i the world where you can hang out with your friends all day
once you join the working world.... you won't have time for friends

Im goin 2 the 10th grade. my freshman year was fun . highschool possibly will be the best 4 years of your life.

well its all about cliques and other dumb stuff like house parties and stuff, just joking it's about learning and getting high school diploma I guess it's fun I mean the prom and stuff but your senior year is definitely the best

what did you hear about it? every high school is different. if you go 2 a preppy rich high school than they have more school spirit. if you go to a ghetto high school they ain't got **** but hella fights

i personally liked college alot more.... less stupid ppl.. work hard in high school. student council actually leads to something... dances are HUGE etc...
