I thought ND was playng a creampuff schedule, what with the service academies and all. And we are talking about the team that's returning two NFL first round draft picks this year at QB and WR as well as the front-runner in the Heisman, plus last year's coach of the year. Not to mention they beat #3 Michigan in Ann Arbor and came closer to snapping USC's win streak than any team other than Texas. Plus they also have this safety by the name of Tom Zibikowski (who doubles as a prolific punt returner) who won his first professional boxing match in about 40 seconds. So, there’s really no doubt, they’re legit. But how many games will they lose? Well, going through and giving them the benefit of the doubt, I’d have to say none. Georgia Tech, will be tough, but they won’t have an answer for ND’s firepower; Penn St., another good matchup, but in South Bend; Michigan, beat them last year in the Big House, Michigan St., tough game, especially after last year’s OT catastrophe, but certainly winnable; UCLA, not nearly as scary sans Olson; USC, still good, but even with Leinart, Bush, and Jarret they were a controversial call away from winning. And I’ll just take Purdue, UNC, Stanford, and the service academies. So who does that leave? Oh, no one, so I guess I’m going to put Notre Dame down as going 12-0 and heading to Glendale. A very realistic prediction given the caliber of their offensive weaponry. Mark it down.

Well, now that Oklahoma's season has gone down the crapper with the loss of Bomar, I don't see anyone beating Notre Dame, fairytale or not. Their schedule except for maybe three games will be easy and two of the tree tough one are at home. ND will dominate.

Depends on how fast the other teams are.
The only way ND hung in the game with USC was due to not cutting the grass in the stadium - I think the coach mentioned it was part of the game strategy.
Once ND got to the bowl game - on short grass - they got taken to school by a much faster opponent.

ZERO, they will be national champs.
They should handle Penn State, Michigan and Michigan State. The rest of the schedule is easy.
They'll knock off USC in the final regular season game.
