dont tell its maya or poser, coz i already use it..
but at least, please sugest me where to download 3D character that can be imported to maya.
n i prefer the cute one, NOT the realistic one

There is no such thing as an EASY character modeling program, unless you're talking stick figures. Just do a search for "character models for (insert program here)" and there you go. If you want unrealistic characters, use the keyword cartoon or superdeformed.

You can do anything with 3Ds Max. (Just mimicking GOD). But it is not easy.

Modeling in 3Ds Max
Low polygon modeling (Popular and easy)
Nurbs Modeling (Fine results, ideal for organic modeling)
Patch Modeling (Low file size).
