Basically, my computer toolbars, start menu etc are appearing really large. I was wondering if anyone knows how to change them. I've tried altering the text size, but this just only makes the print harder to read, and still leaves the rest extremely oversized. It's the case where, when reading a page on the internet, I can only fit a few sentences in before having to scroll down. Any help would be appreciated.

P.S I've tried right-clicking on my desktop and going to properties, but can't see anything to change.

If none of the above suggestions helped, try to figure out if you have the proper driver for the graphics card. As I explained in another question of yours, Windows has its own generic driver for video cards so you can actually see stuff even when you don't have the driver from the card vendor. This generic driver usually doesn't let to change resolution too much. To find out if you are using this generic driver, go to device manager (see my other answer), and check the property of the device under display adapter, if the driver vendor is Microsoft, then you need a new driver.

Go to settings and change the screen size with the bar that will say 900 x 600 or what ever put it to 1000 x 900 that will sort that problem, you will also get more of a web page displayed on the visible screen.

Presuming it isn't they screen resolution. Right click on Desktop, left click on properties, click the appearance tab, then the Advanced button (lower right), then select Icon in the Items field. To the right of this is the Size field, normal is 32.
