Welcome to the wonderfully creative world of scrapbooking! I began to scrapbook 8 years ago when I was still in high school. My scrapbooks were proudly displayed at my graduation party and I have wonderful keepsakes of my time in high school as well as college.
I do not know what companies you are familiar with, but I was introduced to Creative Memories when I first began scrapbooking. I purchased many of the basic tools and albums from this company. There is also a company called Stampin-Up which tell scrapbook items and stamps! I just have began to purchase things from this company! I am quickly becoming addicted! When scrapbooking, I highly reccommend using acid and lignin free products. It will help your photos from turning yellow years down the road. I also suggest using plastic page protectors to cover your scrapbook pages so your photos won't get smudged through the years. You can purchase scrapbook items at Wal-Mart, Michaels craftstore, Jo-Ann Fabrics and of course any of your local scrapbook stores. I would check out www.stickerplanet.com. They have any kind of sticker you can imagine plus scrapbooking items such as paper and adhesives.
Please feel free to contact me! I love scrapbooking and would like to share tips and ideas!

I love scrapbooking! I've been scrapbooking for over 8 years. I teach scrapbooking, and have also been on TV doing scrapbook pages.
Here is one tip for you: though some people may say that "no one really mats photos anymore" I highly disagree! Matting your photos are extremely important, especially if you don't want your photos to get lost in the pattern and energy of your page. Just measure your mat about a quarter or half an inch larger than you picture and place behind. The solid paper with bring focus to the most important aspect of your page... your pics! Also, never use glue on photos or too much glue on paper, they tend to wrinkle! Instead, I recommend using photo stickers. I love the ones from Fiskars. You can use adhesive runners too, but they get pricey and you tend to use more than you need.
Contact me if you want to talk more about scrapbooking!!!

I noticed on a scrapbook exhibit plenty of men and women love virtual for the identical explanations you assert. You can print them up and album them and yet another well factor approximately that is you'll upload a few gildings with out spending plenty of time. You must nonetheless use archival nontoxic paper so it is going to final to move down for generations. I consider Epson has a few well stuff too.
