When you plug your pod in, iTunes should automatically recognize it. If it does not, then god knows what's wrong. Re-install iTunes. You will not lose your music.*

I should happen automatically when you connect your iPod to your computer. But if your iTunes is set to manual in the preferences you may have to drag the tunes you want into the iPod Icon in the left hand column of iTunes.
If you have lost your manual, you should invest in The iPod Book by Scott Kelby which teaches many cool things that you can do with your iPod beyond the obvious stuff.

drag all your music to iTunes library folder
and then plug your iPod into your computer
and then if it doesn't update automatically
right click on your iPod icon in Itunes and then click update.

Connect it to your computer and when it shows up in the source list you can highlight the songs you want and click and drag them to your ipod in the source list.

just plug in ipod it should do it automatically. if not go under file and push update ipod

you plug in you i pod and and let it sit cause wen it says do not disconnect its transfering it from your computer and its charching. thnks for the 2 points

hook up yer ipod to yer computer. then drag the songs from yer library to yer ipod folder. :]
