A. Bandura did some experiments on kids in the early 70'
s where he put 8 M&M's on a table in front of a camera, instructed four year olds that if they do not eat the candy, they will get a whole bag when the researcher comes back. He filmed the kids trying not to look at the candy, or doing things to distract themselves for the time being. About 15% of the kids blew it and ate the candy.
This is interesting and relates to your hypothesis like this:
Of the kids who blew it, as I recall, 20 years later 60% had been convicted of some crime, 40% did not complete highschool, and a high percentage of the girls became pregnant in highschool.
My humble POV: men who can defer gratification by managing their attention and using techniques to cultivate certain behaviors would also seem to have the resources to perform better on an IQ test, not because of the controlled urges, but because of their capacity to defer gratification for self improvement, for focusing attention and such.
Seems like there's a general belief that sexual impulses should not be deferred or one will become a pervert, which is interesting considering the growing belief that giving into equally unnecessary eating urges is a sign of weakness and possible questionable IQ.
Good question.

No! That's a ridiculous idea. Many great and intelligent men have been sexually active. Do some research.
The idea that men can't control their sexual urges is, quite frankly, insulting to men.
There are many men, and women, who choose to remain celibate for whatever reason, religion being one of them. Go to a convent or a monastry and test the IQs of the nuns and monks. I think you would find a pretty broad spectrum of results.

No I think the wisdom of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge and promotion comes not from the east or the west (our planning) but it comes from the Lord.
Man can only control his urges as well as his sinful nature with the Lord's help.

Just because there's a statistical relationship doesn't mean there's a causal relationship. A smart man might be a slave to his sex drive and vice versa.
The key to being successful and making smart decisions is balance and acting according to one's principles. Sexuality plays into that but isn't such a key factor.

enable's shop it actual, this is in basic terms Islam that does this crap. this isn't any longer any "many" religions. And sure, over the years and conditioning, Muslim adult males raised in Islam have a organic contempt for the female, and the burden of "honor" and "chastity" fall so heavily upon her solely. for my section, sure...they're vulnerable, immoral and degenerate as a results of fact I must be waiting to look as high-quality as i decide to, have on the main seductive fragrance, and exhibiting off my gorgeous factors to the T and no guy ought to seek for to violate me. in the event that they do, they're the only's with the discipline subjects. this isn't any longer an argument of my "honor" or "chastity", despite the hell that's besides that the Muslims harp on many times.
