"The president has adopted a policy of "anticipatory self defense" that is alarmingly similar to the policy that imperial Japan employed at Pearl Harbor(later called a war crime), on a date, as an earlier American president said it would, lives in infamy. Franklin D. Roosevelt was right, but today it is we Americans who live in infamy.'

It didn't make me feel anything. It made me think.

After spending a week or so on Yahoo Answers, I find it unsettling to see so many whiney, finger pointing, losers on both sides of any issue. "A house divided shall not stand." Who wants it this way. You? Me? or the powers that be? Divide and conqure is a tried and true tactic. just look what a mess the Middle East is in. Do they have unity? Maybe more than we do in the US. The solutions will only come when people start listening to one another. It's as simple as that.

Hindsight is a wonderful gift, though we tend not to have it until after an action is performed. To contiually dwell on a step forward, be it a mistep or the right one. America has the uncanny ability of doing, that is taking steps, whetehr they are wrong or right. However, America has the determination to keep walkng, and even if she has to perform every single bad action, she will ultimately end up doing the right thing. It may be trial by error, but sometimes that is the best way to learn and do.

It always comes down to a question of good and evil. America haters (unfortunately, many of them live in America) always think that the U.S. is evil.

The U.S. acts from the moral high ground.

Consider the quote from Barry Goldwater:

"I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no VICE. And let me remind you also that moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue."
