close limewire and they will still load.

if you "Exit" limewire then they will stop.

No.

When you actually exit the program it kills all the connections and all the downloads are saved as .dat files in your Incomplete folder that it creates. Once you open up Limewire again the downloads will resume from where they left off before you exited a program. Also exiting is actually turning of the program. It should say Limewire is shutting down or something of that nature. If you click the X depending on your settings it usually puts it down where the clock is and actually is still open.

Now if the song or movie already finished downloading they are stored locally on your hard drive and will still be their.

No they won't, if you X out it will shut down the prgram and you will have to start over, that how people get caught, when you leave it run all day and its open all the time thats how they catch you for not paying for movies and songs!

yeah it will...if you click the exit button on the program it will minimize into the toolbar. itll be still rinning, but if you right like it and exit the whole thing youll just literally exit out of it.

you can exit out and when you go back in your downloads will pick right back up where you left off. also just minimize and not exit this way it will keep downloading.

yes. even if you click the red arrow up top all it will do is minimize it into the system tray. THAT IS if you have it setup to do that. otherwise once you close it you'll shut it down competely.

yes theyll still download.. you may have to press resume when you come back..but they wont dissappear.
