Call your local airline services. Many of them offer discounted rates for this situation. If you don't get help from whomever answers the phone, ask to speak with a supervisor. We had to do this a few years back, I can't remember if it was continental or American, but they worked with us. You have my sympathy on the loss of your Grandmother.

Airlines offer something called a bereavement fare which is the cheapest possible fare offered. To qualify the person must be a member of the immediate family and you will have to provide the name of the funeral director along with their phone #

First call the airlines. Tell them you situation. They may be able to get you funeral rate
Check out ebay
then go to travelocity.com
cheaptickets
yahoo travel
then call United Way they may direct you to someone that can help

I think most airlines offer a bereavement rate. I'm not sure what you need for proof, but call the airlines and see.
