it can be...some people see adultery as only a sexual thing, but it can mean different things to different people...i do think however, that an "emotional affair" would be a VERY broad term that is just asking to be taken advantage of....every spouse who has a friend of the opposit sex could be seen as an affair, and eventually married people won't be able to EVER have ANY friends. Isn't friendship an emotional bond?

Having a friendship with someone is not an affair! If you don't like the idea that your husband/wife is being able to express his/her personal feelings to anyone else except to you, then you should realize that you should not only be a husband/wife, you should also be a very best friend!!!!

Sorry dera, do u mean by emotional affair a sexual thoughts if so then this is really bad coz u need to be faithfull for only one man but if u mean that u like him as a frnd then why not :)

when you get married, you pledge to give yourself to the other person completely. if your heart is tied to someone else, then that is adultery.
