Why do the Lebonese hate America?

Question

I keep hearing many of them shout "Death to Isreal and America" and burnng our flag. This is not our war and we didn't start it, so why do they want us dead? I really don't understand it.

Please- I am not looking for anyone to spew their hatred at me or anyone else in this answer. I am just trying to understand a little better.

Becasue the U.S. is the one sending bombs to Israel ...

The US says it is trying to seek peace, but all it has done is increase shipments of bombs to Israel since the start of this conflict. 1/3 of Israel's budget is paid for by the US, and 1/2 the military of Israel is paid for by the US. If the US wanted Israel to stop it would happen in a second!

Israel is kind of like a spoiled child crying to its daddy the US, and anytime Israel wants something the US just gives in, just like an enabler parent would

The friend of your enemy is also your enemy. In this case America is friends with Israel and Israel is the enemy of Lebanon. Therefore, America is also an enemy of Lebanon.

Americans have a long history of strong support for Israel. Specifically, many of the weapons being used by Israel are supplied by Americans. America continues to supply the weapons while the war is being waged. While it is not a war that we started, we are supporting it.

BTW, this is an edit added after submitting my response and seeing all of the other similar comments. Many of the comments suggest disapproval with U.S. foreign policy. It would be interesting to know of those previous comments, which of those respondants voted. If you don't vote, then U.S. policy is liable to get out of whack with your true American values.

the US was arming Israel with arms, so the Lebanon peeps blew up the US embasy there, causing the US to get into the war (this was around 1983) The US started fighting and in some bombings they killed innocent peeps and children, so the survivors started a movement of hatred towards the US.

Then they go someplace that gives them food and preaches hate about America. The positive reinforcement of the food tattoo's into their mind what they hear is true.

Same way you give a puppy a treat for learning how to sit. It will eventually sit on its own.

The US supplies weapons to Israel. And, the US allowed the Jews to take over much of the former's media, and these Jews portray all Muslims as terrorists. But I don't believe that all Americans think that way about Muslims.

all the people who answered by saying lack of education lack education themselves wouldnt you hate a country if they were supplying the enemy who rip your children apart with their bombs as if they wer worthless animals?and leave you homeless without even a picture to remember your family wich once exsisted before they were slaughtered by some people who claim to be fighting terrirists?but are indeed terrorists themselves and the whole world dares not speak against them although they know that the brutal and savage acts of the murderous isrealies and americans is wrong.

The first reason is because the U.S supports Israel. The second is because all of the Lebanese propaganda is supported by Syria and Iran and you know that Iran and the U.S aren't exactly "tight"

Because we're on israel's side. A lot of countries don't like us because we're basically the strongest country and if anyone ***** with us we'll blow them up :)
