I restored my comp. to an earlier time and it no longer acts as a button..I used to just tap it instead of using the left button...other than that ..it works fine...help. do I go to the control pannel or something...if yes ..where ?

yes to control pannel-> hardware tab on top->device manager ->look for anything with a question mark -(question marks usually mean drivers are not installed properly) or look for red x they mean the device is disabled you can right click to get more option on installing drivers or enabeling the device
also look for lock/unlock button some were by the touch pad some have the button
