I'm pregnant and then I'll be nursing for a while, but when I come to one of my jobsites, I get soooo drowsy. I've tried cracking the window, changing the temp, et cetera....I can stay awake anywhere but here. I have to be alert as I'm teaching a class. Please help...I know oranges and orange juice help, but I'd also like something that won't spike my blood sugar so rapidly as well.

Candy will give you a short lived burst. If posible a short cat nap in the car does WONDERS for me. One thing to stay away from is high doses of ibuprofen. That makes me very weary at work.

Dark chocolate not as sugary but does the job. I TEACH ALSO.
