Your egg is released 14 days BEFORE the first day of your next period.
So, if your period starts regularly every 28 days, two weeks after the first day of your last period is when you ovulate. But if your period is only a 14 day cycle (not likely, but possible) then the first day of your period would be the day you ovulated! So figure it out that way, and search online for "Natural Family Planning" for information about using cervical mucous as a guide as well. (Or search "basal body temperature" or "cervical mucous.")

Listen it really depends on how old you are, but if you already have your period, then your free to have a baby, but the best timing is not during your period, and probally about a week after your period is over, if you find out your pregnet, and have your period still honey your not pregnet any more, if my tip doesn't work then please ask a doctor, he or she can really help you.

14 days before your period is due. if you have a 28 day clcle, then it's 14 days after your period. if you don't have a 28 day cycle, like me, then it's best to know when it's due and count 14-15 days before.

When you are ovulating you can figure this out check out your local planned parenthood its free.Usually we ovulate a week or few days before our period.
