Sometimes a girl gets it as early as 10 others get it as late as 16 but if your mother got hers later, then you probably will too. I think it's genetic. Why would you want it to come, anyway. You know a period can be a blessing and a curse. The blessing is how it cleans your inner body and makes you a woman but the curse is the headaches, cramps, and bloating. To answer your question, ask your mom when she got her period and when you should be expecting yours.

around 10 or 11 now a days but most of the people i no they were 13. If u are a late bloomer don't worry i'll catch up.

well i got my period when i was 11 in the 5th grade. everyone is different. you should be getting your period soon. but you can also get it when you are a bit older. my mom didnt start her period until she was 16!!

gurl dont worri u just a late bloomer ull get it unless u been doin somthin u shouldnt be doin u might get at 14 dont worri but if u 16 and u aint got u might wanna go see a doc

whenever your body tells you that u need 1 im 13 and i started mines in the 6th grade in the month of october and my b-day is oct.13 crazy huh

Well it depends on the person. I got mine when I was about 9, but my friend got hers when she was 17. So it differs by person.

Don't worry about it, actually, be glad, because you don't have to worry about pads, cramps, mood swings etc., yet. Sometimes women don't get their first period till they're 18, so you're fine. =)
