A poll is usually one question with the number of answers broken down into percentages.

A survey is a number of questions being asked for a certain purpose to discover information on public opinion.

A survey is given to inspect the condition or opinion of a body by means of questions. Although similar, the polls results are by means of voting rather than answering.
