If you were being literal - the answer would be yes. However being allegorical the answer is no. The reason being open and honest is supposedly a good thing, however if you are open (as in for example catching a ball) then you will let it pass you by. Therefore the answer lies in how you view life and choose to interpret your situations ie are you a literal or allegorical person. Judging from your inquiring mind I would say you are more literal therefore the answer would be yes.

Well maybe having an open mind allows many ideas to flow in instead of out. Because if you have a closed mind how are you suppose to let out all those great ideas. What do you think??

Closed minds are bad. If you dont have an open mind then how are you ever going to learn anything? Closed minded people are missing out even though as you put it the ideas could get stuck!!!

The mind is made to be open so that everyday isn't the same as the first. We can always change our ways, but closing that gate is a choice and not always ours. If you think you can't handle something then don't. Sometimes we climb too high and can't find our way back down. Then there is no where to go, not even up.

nope open minds are better! ne ways if you have an open mind and ideas or thoughts slip out well thats good cuz at least you are being honest.

yeah but if you have an open mind ideas can slip INTO your mind. so i guess if you lose a few and gain a few you come out even.
