Want to see your power bills drop dramatically? Do this. I did and was so happy.

1. Stop using the dryer. Hang them up to dry overnight on clotheslines.

2. Dont use the dishwasher. Use your hands to wash the dishes.

3. Turn off the freezer. Shop at the supermarket for fresher food.
Use them as your freezer.

4. Pull the plugs out of the TVs and microwaves. The standbys eats up power big time.

Read my profile. My saying is that the home is gone from my house. My kitchen is nothing but the room the man was in with the knife. I fought back, using all my strength that God allowed me to have, and stayed on my feet as long as I could. I think that is what is saved me. We have guns, but they aren't in the kitchen. Had there been someone else at home, that could have gotten to the guns, yes, they could have shot him. But, I really don't know that I want my kids to experience that, either. My husband could have handled shooting and killing the guy, my son would have done it, and my daughter likely would have gotten stabbed, too. Now, I'm firearm trained, and I would definitely not enter a room alone where I hear a noise without a gun. However, anyone that picks up a gun must be willing to take a life. If you think you might hesitate, don't touch the gun! Adding to my trauma, the stupid cops didn't believe that the wounds I had were 'real' and so charged me with false reporting. Therapy is very helpful. Lastly, don't trust or believe the cops. They are not looking out for anyone but themselves, and if you remember something else about the attack and tell them, they will say you are changing your story and therefore, it must not have happened. That closes the case for them. Sadly, you need at least a victim advocate and probably a victim attorney to be present when you speak with the police.

When not at home and you're going to be away for several hours just pay a visit to your breaker box and turn off all that are not used while you are out. It is possible to cut your energy bill drastically

1. Use flourescent bulbs, they consume less energy than normal bulbs.
2. I always "air dry" my dishes.
3. I try to fill both my dishwasher or washing machine before running a load.
4. Check weatherstripping.

I keep the AC on 83 degrees. I switch off the water heater and only turn it on for an hour or two a day.

Actually no they are not.

Eectricity must flow and without the phone being plugged in there is no flow.

Don;t believe me, check your adaptor after a couple of hours of being plugged into the wall, but not the phone. It isn;t hot is it? That means no electricity is being used

Make sure your windows are sealed pretty good. The heat coming in can waste alot of the air condition in you place.
