Many ppl think they need an suv because they have more than one kid because suvs are the "in" style a car will hold a family of four fine. I'm an only child and we just got a new car it has space is not huge like an suv and has a good trunk space it also looks nice on the inside and out sid the passenger seat hgas a sensor to sense your weight to either turn the airbag on or off if the person does not weigh enough it urns the airbag off. It is the Camry 2007. It is really good.

Try the new Toyota Rav 4. I used to have the smaller one, but traded it in for a sports car as I thought it was too big for a single lady. =) I really enjoyed it though and the 2007 models are bigger and roomier, but they don't look too big. Also, Mazda has a new minivan out now that looks more like a sports car than a minivan...your kiddos may like that one more. =) Good luck!

Saturn VUE ,Chevy Equinox,Pontiac Torrent
All the same vehicle

Inexpensive (at least the Saturn is)
Roomy
Safe--highest crash rating
Easy to drive and park
Slides easily under both thief radar and police radar
FWD or AWD
decent but not exceptional gas mileage

All those BMW's and what not are nice but we all have more important things to spend 60,000 dollars on
