Where's the safest place to sit on a plane?

Depends on the plane. Over the wing is generally safest because there is more structural strength in that area, but sometimes it's safest further back. As close to a door as possible is also a very good idea, and sit away from old people, kids and fat people.

But whatever you do, don't sit near the front!
