If you like her best friend better, you did the right thing, even if she cried. She'll get over it, and good for you to think about how she might feel.
Have a nice time.

I would say yeah you did. If you like one of her best friends then you aren't committed to the original girl. So leaving her may have hurt her but will eventually free her up to find someone who will commit to her. You do have a problem though, because dating the best friend may only drive a wedge between the old girlfriend and her best friend. Are you ready to do that, and do you think the best friend is willing to take that chance and deal with those consequences as well?
And remember, your feelings may change and you may revert back to liking your old girlfriend again. Can you deal with that now? Can you deal with that if you start dating the best friend? And if the best friend says no, can you hold back from trying to go back to the old girlfriend? These are questions you must know the answer to before you even think about asking out the best friend.

I think you did the right thing. I have being in the suitation where you are still with the person and they go and do the dirt on you with someone else. the only thing you might find is that the friend of the ex will not go anywhere near you cos you are the boyfriend of the bestfriend.
their is a sayin "friendships are for ever, fella's come and go!"

Did you tell your girlfriend why you were breaking up with her? She might feel better if she knows that you did it so you wouldn't hurt her further along the road. She will still be upset but she will see in the end that what you did was the right thing to do.
I think you did the best thing for you and her and I think its great that you were so honest and didn't hide it from her and cheat

I think you did the right thing, if you like someone else it is the decent and honest thing to do. It may have upset her for you to finish with her, but it would have been worse if she was still with you and found out you liked her friend.

yes you did the right thing, but i don't think you should try to get it on with the other girl, cos if she is a good friend she will be mad at you for upsetting her friend and won't even give you a second look.

Well, did you tell her why, and is that why she cried? If thats thats how you broke it to her, think about how you would feel. And is the other girl interested in you, and consider whether or not risking that is worth losing your gf forever.

Yes you did, you must also stay away from her friends if you want to continue doing the right thing.

You did the right thing. It's the unfortunate thing about love. You can't choose who you love and it's not right to stay with someone if you don't love them.
She'll get over you. Give her tome and space
