there is no limit as long as a person is comfortable with the procedures and their appearance. I personally love to meet up with the needles. Whether it's ink or metal, I'm there. But then, I always was the strange one--probably a dyke too.

Piercings are getting out of control in my opinion. One or two in the ears should suffice even though I have 3 in each (earrings do not go in 3rd holes anymore). If you pierce elsewhere, that's your personal business, but I think nipples and elsewhere should not be done (that's for both males and females).
Tattoos, I have 4, plan to get at least another 3 or 4 more (all small). Once you start covering up arms or a full back tattoo, that's when trashy comes to mind. A few small, well placed tats are fine.

I have 3 in each ear and one nose ring...and I want a belly button ring and a tongue ring. That would be a total of 6 piercings and that would be fine!--So about maybe 10 or something like that. And tattoos you can have as many as you want and it still won't look trashy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i find your tattoo beautiful. i have 3. getting ready for my next two or three. i have found that if people are goin to judge me based on that then i dont' wanna be around them. im 19 and up until this year was a virgin so im definitely not promiscuous. im with the guy of my dreams who only has one small tattoo and just for some reason finds it attractive that i have more tats. tattoos are a way of expression and if i were you i wouldn't worry what anyone thinks. just live. don't worry about settling down. when that guy comes it'll be right and you'll know it. my guy has some college under his belt. and hes very well educated. not unmotivated by any means. so just live and don't worry.

Besides ears, I think 2 are the max. before you look trashy or too hardcore. Tats, well that depend where you have them. You could have like 5 but away from each other, or in places where people would not see them. It alsw depends on the size and the design.

one piercing for each ear. Tattoo- small one. Body Tattoos look really trashy, despite the fact that they might look kinda cool in design.

When you think they look trashy is the best way to settle that one. But personally I think when your ear looks like its has a fringe on the lobes or when you can not pluck your eyebrows or it hurts to wear clothes or to go to the bathroom without pain, then I think you have enough. I have four, two in each ear and I can not keep earrings since I always loose one of a set. That alone would make me crazy to try and keep from loosing one of a set.

Anything that in 10 years you would be embarrassed to show off...remember the older you get the worse things look because your mind and attitude and times will change.
Be careful in your choices, and try to see yourself in the future if you will still want to be wearing those things. More than likely what looks great now will not in 4 years....bear that in mind when you choose.
Try just ears and a couple small piercings where people won't see them as you change....enjoy

It depends on the girl. One of my friend's is kinda rock and roll, and she as three tats, her ears, eyebrow, tongue, and belly button pierced. But she gets away with it because of her style. However, another friend of mine is all sweet/girl-next-door and her tats look almost kinda funny on her. I think that any more then one facial piercing is too much on a girl. Guys are a whole different story, they have have multiple piercings and tats without looking trashy, it all depends on who they want to be and how they want to be regarded.

that depends on you.....how you wear your piercings. I have three on each ear and one on my navel. I have no tattos but I guess that if I had one it wouldn't be visible easily. I think it's trashy when a girl has piercings everywhere, tongue, nose, ears and visible tattos, more than 2. Also if the girl's outfit is trashy it makes it worse. But look at Angelina Jolie, she is tattoed all over and still looks very elegant!
