Biggie was by far the BEST Rapper Of All Time. But on the other hand, Tupac was by far the GREATEST Rapper Of All Time.

The difference between the BEST and the GREATEST is that Biggie was the better rapper. He topped 2Pac in every/any lyrical category. His delivery was better. His freestyling ability was legendary. Biggie became a legend with ONLY TWO ALBUMS! (Those posthumous albums do not count.) Making him the BEST rapper of all time.

Pac, on the other hand, was the GREATER rapper for two reasons. Reason One is that he was around longer than Biggie. Hence, he already had an established fanbase and, by his death, released more albums than Biggie. Reason Two is that he lived the lifestyle better. He was a great womanizer and was a great motivator. Making Pac the GREATEST rapper of all time.

Am I right or wrong? Was Biggie the BETTER rapper and Pac the GREATTER Rapper OR is it the other way around.

They were both great rappers. Their syles were different. Their music was different. They were both, due to primarily their lifestyle and rap culture at the time, shot down in their prime. What a sad, sad waste of two promising incons.

I'm not sure I agree. I believe they both deserve a spot at the top. It's interesting how people feel about these two artists. I have often found the geography affects the answer to this question (obviously). Aside from the better lifestyle, Pac was a much deeper thinker than Biggie. I have traditionally been an 'east coast' fan, but I love me some Tupac! He said things that made you think and question the status quo. He did deep, and he did party music. I don't think Biggie delivered better than Pac. Biggie delivered different than Pac. Biggie told a story. Tupac was far under-rated, though he has been recognized as one of the greats.

I guess your right, But in my opinion I don't feel neither was the BEST or the GREATEST. People just gave them that titled, believed in it, and gave them money for it. Don't get me wrong they are better then a few of our rappers back then and today, but that's only because no other rapper were allowed to step to the plate a take a whack at it. . . .in fear of being criticize by the fans of the hip hop/rap community. Biggie and Tupac (May they R.I.P.) have be dead forever now. Yet we still show them more love than any other rapper out there, which I feel is quite selfish. But who am I? This is just my opinion. =)
