Virtual Villagers help?

Question

If you hit the drum by the school the kids 'go to school', but no one is there to teach them. What do I do? Any cheats or help you can give me about this or anything else to do with Virtual Villagers would be greatly appreciated. Most detailed answer gets the 10 points. Thanks.

Anyone who is a Master Scientist will teach them on their own. The students will just go and follow around the teacher. Sometimes, if you click on a Master Scientist, the action will say "teaching."
