The first thing i would do is ban public smoking. Everywhere. A lot of places like restaurants are doing it now, but i'm talking about, like, no smoking outside on the streets or anything either. Thats what they should do cuz smoking can affect non smokers as much as smokers. And if i could i would make smoking totally illegal. And cigarettes would be gone for good.

I think banning smoking might work. If cigarettes werent made anymore. Course, the people who make them could just make more... Maybe your right. But i could at least ban public smoking.

The first thing I would do is to deport every single person named Bush, every single relative of the Bush family, every single friend of every member of the Bush family and this also would go for that stupid vice president and his family, etc. too.
Now what the heck does smoking have to do with being president anyway? You have to be some kind of radical with way to much time on your hands so I suggest you get a job and don't worry so much about the smokers in this country because there are way more important matters to take care of, like working for world peace for one.

First thing I would do is lockup all religious nutjobs. I don't mean those who attend church every sunday... I mean the ones who picket with signs telling you how you should live your life.

I hate them so much. You just know these people are the biggest hypocrites alive. If anti-abortioners' daughters were raped by black teens, they would immediaely have an abortion. You just know it.

If their loved ones were paraplegic and needed stem cell research to ever walk again, you know they'd be supporting it.

Bunch of scum.

I would also impeach Bush & Cheney for ruining this country.

I would secure all borders. We've lost control of immigration and thus the security of our country. I support all legal immigration. We need to streamline immigration and keep the terrorists out. An American can't just walk into Iceland and start working like illegals can here. Our vulnerability at the borders is the biggest domestic concern in my view.

Make sure other countries know I am different, will have a different, well considered foreign policy, try diplomacy 1st.

Bring back old, smart diplomats, Rep and Dem, such as Kissinger, Albright. Objective: solve Palestine problem, give them some kind of state.

My agenda would start with trying to unify our public servants in Washington D C in order to have an effective legislature. Erase the political party line, or at least narrow it. There are too many partisan politics in government.

What I find funny is the Pres. really does not have to power to do anything that you people have said. It takes a lot more that the pres. just saying they are going to do something to make it happen. I know for a fact that I wouldn't even attempt to do that job bacause to matter what half this country is going to hate you for it.

Banning smoking wouldn't work. Did banning alcohol work? Does banning marijuana work? The only realistic way to control it is to tax it heavily.

I'd repeal the stupid restrictive laws of the last 35 years, including all cigarette laws.

TAKE UP THE CAUSE OF LEBANON:
Citizen Convoys: Call for Solidarity and Action for South Lebanon

We, Lebanese citizen and members of Lebanon's civil society reject and denounce the forced expulsion of populations in south Lebanon.
We denounce Israel's injunction to our fellow countrymen in the south to flee their homes so as to avoid dying from shelling.
We reject Israel's summon for our citizen to "move far from the zones of combat" through the use of tract.
We do not tolerate that Israel should invoke these summons to claim its innocence from the crimes later committed by its army. No one should be forced to flee from where they live or face the penalty of death.
That such an intimation be perceived and accepted as the Israeli government's well-intioned and humane regard for the Lebanese is unacceptable. That it should furthermore serve to acquit Israel subsequently of its responsibility in the massacre of civilians is intolerable.

In the face of Israel's imminent and publicly proclaimed destruction of more towns and villages in the south, we call for a solidarity with the inhabitants of the south who made the choice to stay and resist.
With this call we affirm our commitment to stand by their side, traveling in citizen convoys to the towns and villages of the south, to express our solidarity with them and our rejection of the Israel's current policy of devastation.

With this call:
- We beckon you to denounce the forced expulsion of populations,
- To defend the rights of the inhabitants of the south to live on their land and in their homes,
- And to join our convoys

We invite you to sign the following declaration:
We, citizen of the world fully affirm our rejection of Israel's policies of total destruction of towns and villages in south Lebanon and of the massacres of their inhabitants. By joining the citizen convoys and with our direct presence by their side we attest of our concrete solidarity with them.
