OK my friend brought a Saab and was speeding through a National Park ... so I steared him into our "Race Track" ... which was cool, but he said that the track was Drag- Racing, and that his car was a front end vehical designed to road - racing.

What does 'Road - Racing' mean ... and are there any spots in Colorado where there is tracks ... sponsored events for safe legal 'Road-Racing'?

Take a look at SCCA autocross. It's a race in a parking lot - a very large parking lot - around a set of cones. It's usually around $30 to enter and a lot of fun.

i thought drag racing was when they speed up really fast, then the parachute goes out and they stop? i've seen road races on real highways, and an accident too, and it wasn't pretty! Tell him to be safe, and by be safe, i mean not do it at all... who'd wanna risk their life, let alone a brand new Saab????

If your stupid friend was speeding through a national park, he is lucky the Park Police didn't slam his assets into jail. He's an idiot! Don't ride with him--ever.
