It's not like when someone walks by I say "Oh yeah that's a designer perfume" as apposed to a knock off.

It's Ok IF they wear it discreetly. Some people feel they have a need to shower in the stuff. For others with allergies, it can be a problem.

My supervisor at work is one of those people. We finally had to have a staff meeting to ask Management to get her to stop. People were sneezing and complaining of headaches. It was that bad.

I was at an opera one evening, and this woman took her seat in front of me, only about 2 minutes before the performance started. She was drenched in something spicy. I thought everybody was going to start sneezing and ruin the production, but it was OK. Still, I had a headache when I left (and it wasn't from the high notes. LOL)

So, "less is more" in this case.

It doesn't really matter if a fragrance is designer or not. As long as the scent is nice and works with their body chemistry, that's all that really matters.

No, yuck! I don't like any strong perfumes -- they make me sneeze. I like natural scents like rose or lavender. I think designer perfumes are a thing of the past. I think too many people have chemical sensitives now.

(I never realized how much I like sharing my opinions!!)

No. Thats not the kind of thing I notice. Only if they smell good or not. My favorite perfume is $10 and its come from a hippie store.
