I would suggest you to buy T-mobile from Letstalk.com - their coverage is not as good as verizon but their service and prices are great. Get one of the following phones Samsung T809, Samsung T509 or Nokia 6103 - most of them are free...

If you are choosing between Cingular and T-mobile then choose T-mobile since you will get more minutes, better service and better coverage. T-mobile uses Cingular infrastructure + some of its own and hence T-mobile coverage is better.

I have seen that many people are recommending RAZR. I own a RAZR and according to me it is the most overrated phone in the market. Its looks are cool but its features are very limited. I would say that it is better to buy any other phone that RAZR... RAZR is again more than 18 months old - why do you have to buy an old model??? Some of today's model will be popular only few months down the line.

Well I would reccomend you find out how good the service of Sprint or Cingular in your area and if both are good then I would try Cingular only because the are the cheapest company and they have really cool phones like the SLVR which is a camera but can also hold 100 mp3 files. Best of luck to you.

Verizon has the new Motorola Razr V3-M, which has a lot of improved features over the old Razr's. The reception is incredible, and the phone is made of Aluminum (not plastic) so it will probably last a while. It has a camera and a 1.3 gig hard drive, and I think it's a really good phone.

Sprint is good. LG just came out with an awsome phone for them. its called the Fusic. MP3 player, camera all that. its pretty cheap when you sign up for a plan too. or with sprint (i dont know if this goes for other companies to) you can get a free phone with activation.
