Rock N Roll will NEVER DIE!!

2006-08-03 06:22:06 · answer #1 · answered by -- 4 · 0 0

Rock, by most means is dead. Rap and crap like that have taken over and there is very little good rock anymore. However, rock is not completely dead because we have older rock to thrive on (The Clash, Pink Floyd, ect.). And then there is stuff like Green Day (who I think is talented and perfect, though many will differ with me) that is stuff from now. I think rock can reinvent itself, it just needs a kick in the butt.

Rock n Roll never dies it just trancends to the sound of the particular moment...depending in what era of Rock n Roll your talking about? 60's & 70's will always be remembered but the sound and feel will never be duplicated. but alot of the 80's bands are getting back together and touring and producing new albums, Journey,REO Speedwagon,Styx,Dokken to name a few. but Rock n Roll is not dead.

Its not quite dead yet with bands like Pearl Jam, Radiohead, Tool and some others still making good music. Im scared by the direction music is going but their are some good new bands such as Sigur Ros.

I hear ya! right now it's rock classic back in style...I wish I could tell you what's next.. I'm still hoping for something new and exciting! It seems we're stuck in a rut. In the meantime, I'll listen to the old tunes.

We have really lost our way when it come to music in general. Its not about the art of it anymore. Thier are the few but they all keep dying!!! I swear all my favorit people are dead. John Lennon, Notorious BIG, Bradley (from Sublime) just to name a few.
