I have on a cotton peach top it is short sleeved. I am wearing a pair of brown ( dress pants material bermuda shorts. I can't quite call them capri because they only come a little past my knees. I have on a pair of 3'1/2 inch sandles they are a berlap material the color of them or khaki, brown and peach the strappy and tie up the ankle.
Alot of women here wear sneaker (keds) or flip flop or really old lady looking shoes, we have dress codes but noone seems to really follow them ( I get a unwanted peek of this ladies butt almost everyday because of the short dresses she wears. but I am asking about me, am I dressed inappropiate? all the men are looking at me like I am nuts.

Your attire seems suited for a Friday/ Saturday kind of wardrobe.
Although you've mentioned that you work at a business casual setting... I don't see anything else that's wrong with your ensemble.
Maybe just keep length of bermudas longer? Like a capri, perhaps? Add a blazer to be more professional & work appropriate. For after hours, you can take the blazer off.
Shoes? A pointy toe in solid hues like khaki, navy, black or even red in a kitten heel. Don't bother 'bout the guys, they'd probably commend you for making such a bold move in attire *wink, wink*

You are definitely dressed too casual for a work environment. Business Casual means pants that reach your shoes, a blouse that isn't t-shirt material and doesn't have thin straps, shoes that are not made of burlap (also that don't look like Doc Martins or Skechers).

Don't look like a slob because your co-workers do. Set a good example. The best place to shop for nice clothing is at a mall or name brand fashion store; look at the discount racks. You can find nice clothes as inexpensively as the crap they sell at Walmart.

It sounds fine to me, but it's always best to go by a company's dress code, whether others are or not. That way you know you're always safe, especially if someone decides to start enforcing it.
If the peek of the lady's butt happens THAT often, tell a manager or supervisor. I'm sure if you don't want to see it, most other people working don't either, unless they're some horndog pervert.

i think not...if anything you a setting a fashion trend were you work so keep on using your fashion sense until someone actually tell you something. The men are probabaly looking at you because you look great. but also get some long sleeve dress shirts and wear them with a skirt....or a suit jacket with your bermuda shorts...mix and match casual and work everyday. and wear your accessories well too, because those can dress up a outfit.

the shirt and shorts sound fine. because they are a dressier material and not jeans.

but the shoes might make the outfight something more that you would wear out with your friends and not to the office. i'm sure you can find some non-old lady shoes out there but are still cute.

and if you arn't sure ask your boss to make up a paper that has what is appropriate to wear and whats not.

like what shoes are appropriate. what length of skirts and dresses.

and what kind of tops. like can you wear a halter top? or how low can the shirt go?

but usually if you think its not right to wear than its not.

It sounds appropriate to me. I work in a business casual work setting also and I would wear what you just described. Maybe the men are looking at you because they like what they see.

it seems like the people you work with should be taking fashion advice from you. They are probably looking at you crazy because they have never seen someone dress nice. it sounds like it is an appropriate out fit to me.
