Not really. Women mature faster than men so a 25 year old woman is most likely 18 years older mentally anyway. Don't worry about trying to make the rest of the world happy or live up to some unknown expectations. Live your own lives and to heck with everybody else with small minds.

You might not think that age matters at this time but it will in the end, 18 years is quite a bit of difference in age. In ten years when she is 35 and you are 53 there will be differences, she will still be young and thought of as so but you will soon be approaching retirement age. Other youger men will still be attracted to her. Can you honestly say that she will stay commited to the relationship. You need to ask yourself more questions that just the age gap. Im 46 F with a son that is 23, it would almost be like going out and marrying my son or one of his friends that age. At 25 she has alot still to learn about life and relationships, at your age you should have learned this by now.

That shouldn't be a problem unless you or your fiancee or girlfriend are uncomfortable with it. Personally, I married the man of my dreams who is 25 years older than I am. We don't let it bother us and have a relationship that a lot of people don't understand how we can be so close and admire, all at the same time. Neither of us can be easily aged on looks alone, and very few people would guess the age difference and that makes it a bit easier. My father is 7 years older than my mom and they have a great relationship, too! Good luck!!!

My 39 yr-old brother's wife just turned 20 in June. At age 40, I'm 11 1/2 years older than my boyfriend. My first husband was 3 mos. younger, my 2nd was 5 yrs older. Age doesn't make a difference. What is IMPORTANT is you both make each other happy.

You are both adults, so meaning that you should both be able to make adult decisions. If you believe that this is a true love and not just a crush, the age difference shouldn't matter, as long as you both are happy. However, if this relationship is based soley on physical attraction, it may not being appropriate seeing as there is 7 years difference. But again, a marraige should be about loving eachother, not physical love. But I'm just a kid, so do with this information what you will.

No. The age difference doesn't matter. The fact that he is only 18 does, in my opinion. An 18 year old doesn't even know who they are, much less what type of person they want to spend they rest of their life with. (Not that marriage is really permanent.)

Right now the age difference you are speaking of might make a difference as at 18 yrs. old, the part of your brain that creates reason has not been developed yet.....that doesn't happen until 22-23 yrs. of age. After that age, 7 yrs. age difference should not be a big deal at all.

I think it depends on the maturity level. My husband is ten years my senior and it works for us. Relatives didn't understand, friends questioned our intentions and after 17 years of wedded bliss, we've more than earned the right to make a few jokes ourselves. The truth is that we can't help who we fall in love with. We can only be so lucky to find that one to fall in love with....no matter what the age difference.

As long as your both happy. I see no problem with it. It's what you feel in your heart that is important. And if it feels right . Then go with the flow. Your hearts will tell you whats wrong or right. People often misjudge and like to make cruel remarks. Go with your natural instinct. And I'm sure the outcome will be awesome. Good Luck!
