Be patient and try bribing them with grapes. Most guinea pigs like to spend time around you, not in your arms, as prey animals, it makes them very uncomfortable.

Put on some thick gloves and grab one and wrap it in a towel for a few minutes each day. Once you have one of them in a towel pet them and give them a treat like lettuce or a grape or a banana slice. Eventually they will get used to you picking them up. I did this for about a week until my guinea pig realized that I was not going to hurt her.
Your determination will pay off. Guinea pigs longevity is about 7-8yrs. Do you want to spend all that time just looking at them? Good luck

Handle them more. Remove the house from the cage if you want them to get out more, too. When you pick them up hold them close to you and pet them. It should help them relax after a while, and they should get used to it soon. Make sure that your pets get along well together too, and handle them both equally. Hopefully they will grow out of it, and this should help that process speed up a little. Good luck!

Take the houses out of the cage, this will let them get familiar with you. And when you pick them up make sure their feet are stable on your hand and arm. They don't like to dangle from their midsection, It's uncomfortable for them.

I don't think anything's wrong. My elementary schools always had guinea pigs as class pets and they were always so darn scared of everybody. I know of only one guinea pig that doesn't run away when you try to pet it. I think guinea pigs are just jumpy animals.

They are just piggies being piggies. Mine are 6 years old and have been handled every day of their life and they still do that. They like to be held and hang out, but out of 5 there is only one that doesn't take off when I pick it up.

You are going to have to give them time! Let them stay in their houses for a while! Then about a few weeks from now: Set them on the couches with you and see if they go to you!
