I was thinking about this today while watching ESPNEWS. All they pretty much have is baseball which. in my eyes, is by far the most boring sport to watch. It takes absolutely too long and is alot of standing around. Hockey was up there but they changed some of their rules and made it a little more exciting. Let me know what you think, and please back it up with reasons. Thanks!

To clear everything up. I know that baseball is the only major sport being played now.. Besides baseball, which takes part only on weekends. I love baseball, i love golf, i love every sport out there, but that doesnt mean they can't be boring. Everyone is going to be biased about which sports they don't like. I personally think soccer and football are fun to watch. But all in all, it looks like golf takes it, and baseball is a close second

GOLF because all they do is hit the ball into a hole and walk a long ways to reach the other hole until they finish the game. Its just boring l, i mean yeah the people have talent because not a lot of people can play golf all that well but that doesn't make it any less boring :P
Football is probably the most fun because people are always moving around and tackling each other out. Plus those football players can have some sweet butts jeje

I'm a baseball addict...maybe it is because of the slower pace, it makes it easier to follow...not 20 million rules like football (which I do love also). I love going to the games, I love watching it on tv...hell, I even went to spring training this year. But I just find it really easy to get passionate about it and my teams. You might find it interesting to note, however, that I used to absolutely hate baseball, before I actually put the time into watching it and understanding the game and such.
If you want to talk about boring major sport - I will nominate golf for that category. I just don't understand it's popularity whatsoever (although I do love Golden Tee and not too shabby at that game for a chick).

There is nothing more boring than watching Baseball or Golf on TV. Both are guaranteed to put me to sleep at a moment's notice.

The most boring sport to watch on tv has got to be a tie between fishing and golf. With the exception of Tiger Woods cause he is amazing and I love watching Tiger play. Watching fishing just makes me get out the poles and walk down to the river.

I'd agree with everyone else and say golf. The main reason is that there's basically no competitiveness and it's unlike all the other sports. Fans can't go crazy. The basic objective is to whack the ball and try getting it into a hole. There's nothing really fun about that. But hey, it's my opinion.

I dont agree with the hockey comment, but it either Baseball or basketball.
Baseball is too much standing around and basketball is watching each team throw a ball into a hoop 50 or so times. to back and forth
